Tailor Made

Did you know that MacDermott’s has always had a tailor shop at the back of the store? Not only do we provide tailoring with our garments, but we do it in-house. We sell high quality products and they need to fit perfectly before we can let you walk out the door with them. Each garment is tailored to you at no charge before we hand it over. That includes hemming, sleeve shortening, tapering, and taking in the waist just to name a few typical alterations. If you’ve ever bought a jacket from us you’ll know that we like to sew your initials inside, adding a personal touch to your garment.

It’s not just because we are selling you the garment that tailoring is important to us, it’s because we believe your clothes should always fit well. If those pants need to be taken in (or let out!), a hem falls down, you lose a button or a zipper is giving you trouble, just bring it back and we will be happy to fix it – we provide free alterations for the lifetime of your garment.

It’s the little things that matter to us and we believe to make it right we need to make it fit. We want you to look great in our garments at no extra charge. It’s service that people have come to expect from MacDermott’s and we deliver.
