Brice’s New Adventure
You’ve probably heard the news – Brice is leaving MacDermott’s & headed to Kamloops! Here’s What’s New with Brice…
To appropriately answer that question right now would be impossible because the answer is what’s not new! For those of you that haven’t heard the news as of yet after three rewarding years with MacDermott’s I am heading back to my first love, the golf business. I have accepted a position as the General Manager/Head Golf Professional at the Kamloops Golf & Country Club. I am very excited to have this opportunity and am very thankful to have the support of my wonderful family and friends.
With my departure this makes room for some of our great team members to step up and take over. Noel Anderson will step into a leading role and become our new Operations Manager. Noel will be in charge of the day to day operations at both stores and is looking forward to the challenges that his new leadership role will give him. Heather Craig will also be transforming into a new role as the Store Manager of our MacD’s Lakeside location. This is going to be a great fit for Heather and her personality will really transform MacD’s. Sheena Wallace a new addition to our team in 2014 will be taking the lead on our new Sunglasses department that we hope to have launched by May long weekend. We will be carrying brands from John Varvatos and Robert Graham and is something that surely shouldn’t be missed.
Rest assured the things that you have come to know and love about MacDermott’s will never change. We will always carry the best brands at fair prices and always strive to go above and beyond for our customers.
I obviously have to throw a plug in here about our new golf merchandise! We have an amazing selection of golf apparel from Galvin Green, Hugo Boss, Puma Lux and Puma. We have really become a destination for golf apparel and our golf wall is impressive to say the least.
Thank you to all of our wonderful customers for your tremendous support of my parents business and I have really enjoyed working with you for the past three years. I will be working at the store on a part time basis through the end of March and will start full time in Kamloops on April 2nd so please drop by and say hello if you can.
